Henry Golding wants James Bond movies to keep being made, even if he doesn’t land the titular role.

With No Time To Die touted to be Daniel Craig’s last Bond film talk has turned to who could take over.

Henry has become part of the fan-led wishlist alongside the likes of Idris Elba, James Norton and Sam Heughan.

The Crazy Rich Asians star is looking forward to seeing what comes next when the current era ends.

He told Empire: ‘Whatever they’re gonna do, us as fans are gonna enjoy the hell out of it.

‘That’s the most important thing. If I play a little part in that, fantastic. If not, man, another Bond film. Like, keep making them!’

He added that starring in Crazy Rich Asians and the upcoming blockbuster Snake Eyes, which forms part of the G.I. Joe universe, has taken away the ‘pressure’ of ‘yearning for something that might never be’.

No Time To Die was set to be released in April this year but was pushed back to November at the height of the coronavirus pandemic when cinemas worldwide closed.

However there are fears this date could be pushed back even further if audiences continue to avoid cinemas.

A source told Baz Bamigboye for his Daily Mail newspaper column: ‘If it has to wait till next year so be it. There are hundreds of millions of dollars involved here. Release it when audiences feel safe to return. But it’s a nerve-wracking call.’

Other hotly anticipated released that have been scooted to 2021 include Marvel’s Eternals, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and the ninth Fast and Furious film.
