Bored of living a life of leisure, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) in Coronation Street will turn their attention to a new business venture.

When Nick and Leanne refuse to up their offer for half the bistro, Debbie (Sue Devaney) feigns indifference and turns them away.

She then sets up a conversation with Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) who pretends to be a potential buyer and ‘accidentally’ rings Leanne’s mobile.

Leanne tells Nick about the call, but guesses it was a set up on Debbie’s part.

Playing into Debbie’s hands, Leanne and Nick explain that they overheard how keen Ronnie was to buy into the bistro, so they’ve found a cheaper proposition in town.

Later on, Nick admits to Leanne he’s concerned that she and Debbie will clash while working together at the bistro.

Affronted by his implied sexism, Leanne insists women can be professional, but will Nick be proved right?

Can Leanne prove she can work with Debbie if they head into a new working partnership?
