Mayim Bialik shared a sweet throwback snap of herself and Jim Parsons on the set of The Big Band Theory and fans are praying it could be a sign of a reunion.

We can hope, right?

The Amy Farrah Fowler actress, 45, could be seen standing behind Jim, 48, as she took a picture on her phone.

The pair both looked in the mirror which had an equation written on it in pink lipstick.

Mayim played Amy and Jim portrayed Sheldon Cooper on the popular CBS sitcom which ran from 2007 to 2019.

Posting the picture on Instagram, Mayim wrote: ‘Mirror selfie,’ with the hashtag ‘FBF’ for flashback Friday.

The post delighted her followers, with some leaving their wishes in the comments that it could mean a comeback for the show.

‘Is this a sign????’, wrote one person.

‘PLEASE TELL ME THIS MEANS SOMETHING,’ remarked another.

While someone else posted: ‘IS THIS OUR CLUE?!?!’

In April this year Mayim claimed the show ended for reasons that have not yet been made public.

The programme bowed out after 12 years and 12 seasons, with Mayim, Jim, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg and Melissa Rauch bidding farewell to their beloved characters.

Opening up on the behind-the-scenes ‘desicions’ that saw the show wrap, Mayim told Us Weekly: ‘The way that I described the show ending was there are a lot of factors that the public doesn’t get to know about, about what goes into the decisions behind why a show doesn’t continue.

‘I think as someone who was grateful to work alongside Jim and eager to see the rest of what all of our lives held for us, I think there was a general feeling like it was time for us to move into something different.’
