Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) is on cloud nine after embarking on a relationship with Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami), but is the EastEnders favourite set to have her heart broken once more?
Whitney and Kush succumbed to temptation on Valentine’s Day, as they shared a passionate kiss, before spending the night together.
Their newfound relationship has developed into something rather special, and Whitney, knowing what she wanted, ultimately popped the question!
Kush said yes, and next week, the young man is hellbent on tying the knot, as he sets in motion a surprise wedding for his other half.
Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith), however, is determined to sour the mood, as he reminds Kush that he’s going away for a very long time, what with him having accepted Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) deal.
Kush realises that the sinister lawyer is correct, and therefore marches round to Phil’s to reveal that he’s no longer prepared to do what he wanted!
In other words, he’s pulling out of the deal!
Whitney, meanwhile, is stunned as she discovers the truth about the deal in question, and therefore sets out to question her beau on why he’s kept this information from her.
Kush, not realising Whitney knows what she knows, reveals that he’s planning a surprise wedding but he’s ultimately left devastated, as Whitney berates him for lying to her.
Kush, therefore, decides to leave the Square, but when Whitney finds out, she’s desperate to locate him — fearing that he’ll miss his day in court.
Thankfully, he returns home in time for his plea hearing, but with animosity aplenty between he and the Mitchells — not to mention the prospect of a future behind bars — is Kush set to pay a hefty price?
Either way, it’s safe to assume that happiness will once again evade poor Whitney.
