When Mila Marwa (Ruhtxjiaïh Bèllènéa) arrived in EastEnders, she competed with Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) for the cocktail job at The Prince Albert.
Mila got the job and has since found herself involved with Kim’s new business venture, and was matched with Iqra (Priya Davdra) as part of Kim’s attempt at match making.
Coming up, we discover more about Mila as she reveals a homophobia secret, but it appears she’s hiding something else too…
‘The Fox Catcher’ is being profiled in the Walford Gazette and Kim tells the journalist of her success stories – queue Iqra’s arrival.
Kim insists on using Iqra as a case study much to her surprise and persuades Mila to take part too, but secretly Mila is filled with dread.
At Walford East, Kim, Iqra and Mila are preparing for their Gazette feature, but things turn sour when the photographer snapping a picture sends Mila into meltdown.
Kim persuades Iqra to give Mila another chance and they later share a heart to heart.
Iqra confesses her feelings as Mila explains her family’s religious beliefs and homophobia caused her to leave home and change her name, mentioning how she doesn’t want her family to find her.
It appears there’s a lot more to discover about Mila, but what else could she be hiding?
