Mariah Carey has delivered the ultimate Christmas cheer by confirming her duet with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson with the first teaser.

Fans are understandably losing their minds after Mariah shared a poster for her upcoming Apple TV+ festive bonanza with a photo of her alongside Ariana and Jennifer belting out their new song, Oh Santa!, into microphones.

‘MC x AG x JH 🎤🎤🎤🎅🏼’ captioned the photo while her Instagram stories included a countdown, appearing to confirm the track will be released on Friday morning.

Reacting to the spectacular news, music producer Jermaine Dupri commented: ‘Colossal!’ while singer Jojo left a string of heart eye emoji.

One stated: ‘Most iconic crossover in the history of music.’

‘Even Santa’s like: “OK Mariah you officially own Christmas. Take it. It’s yours”,’ another joked.

‘This picture burst my eardrums,’ one fan squealed while another swooned: ‘I’ve dreamed of this forever.’

One fan warned: ‘I’m gonna pass out.’

It comes weeks after Mariah first teased the surprise collaboration with a mysterious photo of three chairs with the initials MC, AG and JH on the back of each one in a studio.

Music fans have longed for a collaboration between the trio due to their striking powerhouse vocals and now the countdown is almost over.

It’s a particularly momentous occasion for Ariana, whose vocal talents have long been compared to Mariah’s and she has previously cited the We Belong Together hitmaker as her inspiration.

The collaboration will feature in Mariah’s anticipated special, which involves a host of other A-list guests such as Tiffany Haddish, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland, and Mariah’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Arriving on December 11, it will also have ‘brand new interpretations’ of hit holiday songs and will feature Snoop Dogg and Dupri on select tracks.

Mariah was already winning the festive season with the news that her Christmas classic All I Want For Christmas Is You is on course to land it’s first number one in the UK after 26 years.
