Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) is currently under an immense amount of pressure in EastEnders, and thus he opens up to Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
The current landlord of the Queen Vic has found himself public enemy number one in recent months, what with him having antagonised half the Square!
He’s clashed with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), offended Peter (Dayle Hudson), and badmouthed the Carter clan to a reporter.
However, it’s Max Branning (Jake Wood) who continues to be the biggest thorn in his side, what with Max demanding that he repay the money he stole from him.
Max has threatened Ian on numerous occasions already since the BBC One soap returned to screens, but it appears as if he does so once more next week (Monday, November 30).
Yes, with Max’s threats becoming worse, Ian is left with little choice.
Therefore, he admits his failures to Sharon, and reveals that he can only see one way out.
The question is: just what has he admitted to Sharon?
What’s more, what’s this ‘way out’ that he’s talking about?
By the end of the week in question, the Queen Vic landlord will find himself lying unconscious, after having been attacked, but just who carried out the attack?
EastEnders airs these scenes Monday November 30 at 8:05pm on BBC One.
