BTS were forced to scrap their world tour due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
But that doesn’t mean 2020 won’t see any major concerts from the band.
Big Hit has confirmed that RM, J-Hope, Jimin, Suga, V, Jin and Jungkook will be holding a special gig this October, both online and in person.
Map Of The Soul ON:E will be held over October 10 and 11, with the agency explaining that limited seating will be available for the ‘offline’ concert to adhere to social distancing measures.
Yep, it’s about to get even harder to get a BTS ticket.
More details about the tickets and the venue will be released soon.
A stunning new visual to promote the concert was shared, showing the seven stars in black trousers and red jackets, walking away from the camera.
Jungkook is holding on to a large red sheet as the band walk on sand.
This concert will come after the release of BTS’s comeback song Dynamite, which has the ARMY majorly hyped.
The group has been sharing 90s visuals for the single, which is set for release on August 21.
Dynamite will mark the next stage in the Map Of The Soul era for the band, with Big Hit promising a new album from BTS in the last quarter of this year.
BTS’s last album, Map Of The Soul: 7, was released in February and became the biggest selling album in Korean chart history, also landing a number one in the US and the UK.
Before that came Map Of The Soul: Persona – so it is believed that their next album will conclude the trilogy.
And if that wasn’t enough, the Black Swan singers will be on our screens again as their movie Break The Silence is set to hit cinemas in September.
See? 2020 isn’t a total bust.
