Harry Potter star Jessie Cave is pregnant with her third child.
The 33-year-old confirmed she is expecting with a sweet snap of her bump, with the rather brilliant caption: ‘Oops I did it again.’
The accompanying picture saw Jessie’s teeny bump under a blue and white polka dot skirt.
Friends and fans piled in with messages of congratulations, including comments from Love Island’s Iain Stirling and comedian Sara Pascoe.
On her Instagram stories, the star – best known for playing Ron Weasley’s obsessive girlfriend Lavender Brown in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – posted a picture of her children, five year-old Donnie and three-year-old Margot, cuddling her bump.
Meanwhile, Jessie’s boyfriend Alfie Brown confirmed the news to his own followers by sharing a picture of their baby scan next to Donnie and Margot’s feet with the caption: ‘I’m very happy to announce my forthcoming vasectomy.’
The couple’s exciting baby news comes after Jessie explained their unconventional road to family life in an article for The Sunday Times Style.
The actress and cartoonist first met Alfie in 2012 and a few years later, they went on a date resulting in a one night stand – and Jessie discovered she was pregnant.
She wrote: ‘I came to the decision that I was very lucky to be having his baby, and that whatever he was going to say to me, I would be OK.
‘Though something told me that our one night stand together was unique and beautiful – and deep down, being together one day already felt inevitable to be, even though I didn’t wat to jinx it.’
The pair went on to date while Jessie was pregnant with their son, and two years later, they also welcomed their daughter Margot.
The comedians split up when Margot was a few months old, but reunited after ‘a couple of years of angst and personal growth’.
Jessie wrote: ‘My fear is that people think that we just made the best of it” because I got pregnant, or that I “trapped him”.
‘I don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t got pregnant that night, but I like to think we would have gone to M&Ms World on a second date. In a way we both trapped each other, and we are extremely lucky.’
As Jessie prepares to welcome her third child, her on-screen boyfriend Rupert Grint has become a dad for the first time.
Rupert, who played Ron Weasley in the series, confirmed last month that he and girlfriend Georgia Groome had welcomed their first child together, a baby girl.
The 31-year-old has been pictured out and about on pram duty, and his co-star Daniel Radcliffe, like the rest of us, is feeling extremely old because of it.
The Harry Potter actor said on Watch What Happens Live: ‘I texted him the other day and said I was so happy for him and it’s very very cool.
‘It’s also like super weird, for me, to think that we are all at the age where we are all having children, but we definitely are.’
