The beginning of a new week brings with it plenty of drama once more in the world of soap, as Yasmeen Nazir’s (Shelley King) plea hearing arrives in Coronation Street, while Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is forced to make a huge decision in EastEnders.
Meanwhile, lockdown arrives in Emmerdale, and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is horrified to discover Cher (Bethannie Hare) attempting to steal her necklace in Hollyoaks.

Yasmeen takes to the stand and enters a not guilty plea — and Alya is delighted as a result.

Mercedes is shocked when she catches Cher stealing one of her necklaces.
Sally has Geoff kicked out in Coronation Street
Sally informs Tim that she’s not sure of Geoff’s innocence and would like him to move out as a result. Later, she grows increasingly convinced that Geoff’s story doesn’t add up.
Gray makes a shock discovery in EastEnders
Gray notices a log in his car tracker from the previous week which indicates that the car had been taken to Stratford, but what he doesn’t know is that this was a result of Ben aving taken the vehicle from the garage. He assumes that Chantelle is responsible for this mystery trip and thus concludes that she must be having an affair.
Robert contacts Aaron in Emmerdale
Aaron is spending lockdown with Cain — who’s adamant that he won’t be opening up about his feelings. However, there’s conflict aplenty, as a letter arrives with a prison stamp on it, and Cain wrestles with what to do for the best. Worrying that Aaron could slip back into his despair, he decides to hide the envelope in a magazine.
Darren opens up to Luke in Hollyoaks
Luke and Darren spend some quality time together, and Darren admits to him that he’s depressed — but how will Luke react?.
Carla receives a visitor in Coronation Street
A young girl named Chelsey walks into the Rovers and spotting Carla starts quizzing Sean who tells her she is his boss. When Carla goes to the toilet, Chesley follows her and reveals that she knows her.
Whitney kisses Gray in EastEnders
Gray advises Whitney to use the flashbacks that she’s been having to piece together a clear picture of what happened on the night in which Leo died — informing her that being able to do so could help her defence in the trial. Whitney becomes distressed as she does what he asks — giving him a derailed account — but she soon breaks down. Gray once again comes to her rescue —comforting her — but as he does so, she tries to kiss him.
