A man has been stabbed to death and a woman in her 80s has been rushed to hospital following a multiple stabbing in Brentford, West London.
Police say there is nothing to suggest that the incident is linked to terrorism.
Footage from the scene shows a cordon is in place and there are several ambulance and police vehicles in the area.
No arrest has been made and enquiries are ongoing to identify the victim, thought to be in his 20s.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
Witnesses have been asked to come forward as detectives investigate the circumstances of the incident.
