Trish Minniver (Denise Welch) has been banging on about Blackpool Apalooza for months, and the moment she’s been anticipating at last arrives in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes.
The question is: will it be a dance delight? Or a devastating disaster? It’s too early to tell, but let’s just say that things don’t go quite as planned.
How’s Trish?
Well, she’s a bag of nerves in the build-up to the big day, and in this Friday’s (October 15) edition of the Channel 4 soap, she confronts Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) with a proposition she cannot refuse.
The proposition? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see, but Maxine is soon furious with her mum, who continues to bully Leah Barnes (Ela-May Demircan), branding her a ‘waste of space’.
In fact, Trish’s bullying inspires Maxine, as she throws herself into coaching Leah in the hopes of winning Blackpool Apalooza!
Leah, however, is worried about going against Trish’s plans, as the big day arrives.
The reason as to why the competition is important to Trish soon comes to light, which naturally puts pressure on Leah.
But will she stick to Trish’s strict routine? Or will she perform the new moves Maxine has taught her.
The jury is still out on that one.
You’ll just have to tune in and find out whether or not Leah is victorious.
As for Trish, well let’s just say there’s a huge showdown between she and Maxine in the wake of the competition – and she kicks her daughter out!
Will she ever learn?
