Coronation Street spoilers: New video reveals the moment Abi dumps Kevin on their wedding day: ‘It’s over, Kev!’

Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) is left with a difficult decision to make in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, but she ultimately does what she thinks is for the best.

The grieving mum struggled to return to normality in the wake Seb’s (Harry Visonini) death, and therefore she sought justice, purchasing a gun and setting out to kill Corey Brent (Maximus Evans).

She was ultimately unable to go through with her murder plot, but Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) discovered what she was planing when he read the letter she’d left for Kevin (Michael Le Vell) on the eve of the sinkhole collapse.

Jack relays his discovery to Debbie (Sue Devaney), who’s less than pleased, and wastes little time in confronting Abi, ordering her to end things with Kev before the wedding, or she’ll tell him everything about her plan to kill Corey.

Abi, heartbroken, does as Debbie asks, and the above clip – taken from the first of Wednesday’s (November 3) two editions of the serial drama – sees her break the news to Kevin on their wedding day.

‘I’ve messaged the guests’, she says, ‘and I’ve spoke to the registry office, but they said they need to speak to you about the cancellation.’

Kevin, stunned, pleads with Abi to reconsider.

‘Have I done something wrong?,’ he asks, eager to ensure their future together. ‘What have I done?’

Abi breaks down in tears, telling Kevin that he hasn’t done anything wrong.

‘I love you Abi’, adds Kev, making it clear just how much he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. ‘I want to marry you Abi.’

‘I’m so sorry,’ she replies through her tears. ‘It’s over, Kev! I’m going to go and get the rest of my stuff’.

Kevin is speechless, but will Abi walk out of his life forever? Or will he be able to convince her to stay?

Coronation Street airs these scenes Wednesday November 3 at 7:30pm on ITV.
