EastEnders spoilers: An explosion rips through the Square in deadly scenes

Janine Butcher’s (Charlie Brooks) presence will continue to be felt in upcoming EastEnders episodes as she finds herself, Scarlett and Tommy trapped in a deadly fire.

To make matters worse, an explosion will then go off, and it’s unconfirmed as to whether everyone will make it out alive…

Coming up, Tommy and Scarlett are upstairs, he’s been hiding her, and they hear commotion taking place between Phil (Steve McFadden) and Shirley (Linda Henry).

In the middle of the drama, everyone fails to notice Scarlett’s jumper landing on the lit hob.

As the flames increase, Janine manages to find Scarlett and Tommy but has no idea of what’s going on.

Despite trying to make Tommy and Scarlett leave, Janine’s left shocked when Tommy locks them all the bedroom, throwing the key down a crack in the floorboards.

Trapped in the bedroom, Tommy, Scarlett and Janine soon realise there’s a fire.

Panic sets in and it isn’t long until an explosion goes off…

Outside, Walford residents gather to try and save everyone trapped in the fire, but will everyone make it out alive?
