Love Island aired another recoupling ceremony round the fire pit, and while we’ve definitely seen more entertaining recouplings this series, Tuesday night’s wasn’t without its drama.

Kaz had a decision to make, but it was pretty clear what it was going to be after she broke things off with Tyler on Monday.

She ended things on Monday after seeing her man return to the main villa with bombshell Clarisse in tow.

Kaz had had some flirtation with new islander Matt while Tyler was in Casa Amor, and in tonight’s episode she made it clear she wanted to see where things led.

Round the firepit she told the other islanders: ‘From the first moment I met this boy we just hit it off.

‘He makes me feel special. He makes me feel important. He’s trustworthy which is really important to me because I value trust over everything.

‘And I’m excited to see where our journey continues to go because I enjoy spending all the time that I have spent with him so far. I’m happy and that’s what counts so…’

As a happy Matt went to sit next to her, Kaz looked straight at Tyler and winked, who fixed his eyes down at the floor in response. Dare we say he looked…gutted?

It was a moment that left viewers screaming in an otherwise ridiculous recoupling that put most islanders back at square one.

On tonight’s show we also saw Millie decide to recouple with Liam despite his antics with Lillie in Casa Amor, and witnessed Mary being left out in the cold after Abi beat her to the punch and coupled up with new boy Dale.

Chloe and Toby meanwhile also decided to give things another go despite Toby having his head turned for the nth time in Casa Amor.

The other couples are Amy and Hugo, Faye and Teddy, Mary and Sam, Clarisse and Tyler and Liberty and Jake.

Another couple may be at risk of being dumped as viewers were asked to vote for their favourite pair at the end of the episode.

Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
