Love Island 2021 fans have turned into detectives trying to figure out what’s happening in tomorrow night’s episode, with many fearing that Liberty Poole will leave the villa.

Heartbreaking scenes saw Liberty break up with her boyfriend Jake Cornish, as she explained she felt like he doesn’t love her for her.

However, in a preview for tomorrow night’s episode, voice over star Iain Stirling teased that a ‘big decision’ has been made.

Liberty was shown standing in front of the firepit, presumably announcing something to her fellow islanders, with the cameras cutting to Millie Court, who looked shocked.

Viewers have speculated about two possibilities – that Liberty has decided to reunite with Jake, or that one or both of them have left the villa.

‘Let’s wait till tomorrow cos now I’m thinking Liberty and Jake might end up leaving together to work on their relationship,’ one speculated.

Another referred back to Amy Hart, who decided to leave the villa after splitting from Curtis Pritchard in series five and said: ‘liberty is really doing an amy tomorrow night isnt she.’

‘So I think that Jake and Liberty both made the decision that they are leaving the villa together,’ one more said.

‘Please, we all know that Liberty will take Jake back by tomorrow’s episode,’ one more said.

We have to know!

Tonight’s episode saw the 21-year-old confide in Faye Winter and then tell her beau: ‘I just don’t feel like you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me.’

‘I feel like I can do anything right,’ she added. ‘I don’t want to continue this feeling like I have to change for anyone.’

To which a baffled Jake replied: ‘What are we saying then, are we saying we’ll go our separate ways then?’

‘There’s not one part of me that wants to change you,’ he added.

‘Certain things aren’t banter,’ Liberty added, later telling him that things didn’t feel right in her gut.

Asking to chat to him on the beanbags, Liberty officially ended things.

‘I just don’t feel like, if I’m being honest, that you love me for me and I want someone that loves me for me,’ she said. ‘That’s how I feel. That’s not saying you’re a bad person, because you’re not, that’s not saying I’m a bad person, but maybe I’m just not right for you.’

‘I hope you find someone that suits you better,’ Liberty added.

Fans have praised the islander for how she handled the situation.

Meanwhile, Jake’s dad Mark previously rushed to his son’s defence when islanders and viewers questioned how genuine he was.

‘What you see on telly is Jake,’ he told the Bristol Post. ‘There is no motive. He is genuine but he speaks before he thinks, so when you see him on the telly saying things, it’s because it’s coming from his heart and he’s just a nice lad.

‘It’s quite an emotional thing to see your son struggling.

‘The worst thing about it for us is seeing the vile comments – mainly from keyboard warriors that don’t understand Jake.’

‘They just see him on the telly and think that he’s in it for the money or he’s a bit of a, you know, bit of a snake and you know, I’m not being horrible to Jake but he’s not intelligent enough to have a game plan,’ he added.

Love Island returns tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
