Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is given reason to be suspicious of killer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) in upcoming EastEnders scenes, after a particularly heated showdown.

The confrontation comes after Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) goes out ring shopping for mum Denise (Diane Parish).

Spotting a ring in the pawn shop, the young woman decides to purchase the item, but she ultimately faces Gray’s wrath when she arrives home!

Recognising that the ring on her finger is Chantelle’s, the solicitor lashes out, instructing Chelsea to remove it at once.

Chelsea is evidently taken aback by her partner’s temper, and later she tells Jack and Kim all about what happened.

But Jack doesn’t think anything off Gray’s behaviour. In fact, her berates Chelsea for her lack of empathy.

The policeman, however, soon changes his tune when he bumps into Gray, and asks all about the ring.

Gray is short with him, which leaves Jack suspicious.

Being a good detective, Jack is no stranger to putting together the clues, but will he work out what Gray is capable of? And if so, will he find himself on the receiving end of the killer’s rage?

Gray, meanwhile, attempts to make amends with Chelsea, but will Chelsea forgive him? Or will she see right through his lies?
