Alicia Vikander and her husband Michael Fassbender were seen pushing a baby in a pram while out on a stroll in Paris on Saturday.

Dressed in light blue jeans, a white jumper and toting a crossbody designer handbag and blanket over her shoulder, Alicia, 32, looked content as she chatted with her 44-year-old husband, who was in charge of the buggy.

The X-Men: Dark Phoenix star wore a light grey hoodie and black jeans for the outing.

The pair were then seen again in the city on Saturday after an outfit change, with Michael in a cream tracksuit ensemble, while Alicia opted for all-black and wore a face mask.

As they walked along the pavement past shops with Michael pushing the pram again, the actor smiled widely while in the company of his wife.

The Oscar-nominated couple, who live together in Lisbon, Portugal, are very private and rarely seen out together.

They met on the set of The Light Between Oceans in 2014 and reportedly tied the knot in Ibiza in October 2017.

The duo made a rare public appearance just ahead of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, when Alicia accompanied Michael to the Calm With Horses premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival.

Michael served as producer on the film, and the last time he and Alicia had previously been photographed together at a premiere was in October 2016, for the opening of The Light Between Oceans.

As to the couple working together again, Alicia previously revealed it would depend on the project.

She told Elle magazine in an August 2020 interview: ‘We both take on parts because it’s a film that is right for us, so it would have to be the same if we were ever to work together again.’

The pair are currently in Paris while Alicia works on HBO show Irma Vep with French indie director Olivier Assayas.

Based on the director’s 1996 film of the same name, Alicia stars as Mira, an American movie star disillusioned with her career and life after a break-up, who comes to Paris to star as the character Irma Vep in a remake of the French silent movie Les Vampires.

Maggie Cheung starred in the original film as a fictionalised version of herself.
