Jennifer Aniston has insisted there’s no awkwardness between her and her ex Brad Pitt, saying they’re ‘buddies’.
We need to know everything about this friendship please.
The former couple, who were married from 2000 to 2005, broke the internet last year when they both took part in a table read of 1982 movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which saw them having to read through a raunchy scene for all to hear.
Jen has since addressed the moment, saying: ‘It was absolutely fun. Brad and I are buddies, we’re friends.’
The Friends star added on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show (via People): ‘And we speak, and there’s no oddness at all, except for everyone that probably watched it and was wanting there to be, or assumed there to be.
‘We had fun, and it was for a great cause, [Sean Penn’s community relief nonprofit] CORE.’
Jennifer, 52, and Brad, 57, married in the early noughties before splitting in 2005.
However, last year they made it clear that they were on great terms when they were spotted catching up and sharing a laugh at the SAG Awards – leaving us all dying to know what was said – before taking part in the virtual table read.
Jen and her Friends co-stars recently reunited for a one-off special of the show, with some serious bombshells being dropped all these years later.
It was revealed that Jennifer, who starred as Rachel Green, and David Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller, had a ‘major crush’ on each other in real life.
Insisting that nothing happened, Jen also told Howard: ‘We were in relationships and it was always never the right time and it wouldn’t have worked.
‘The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channeled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did.’
‘Howard’s not going to believe me,’ Jennifer joked to her co-stars before she added: ‘No, I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no.’
