EastEnders stalwart Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) comes to believe she’s pregnant next week, after feeling a little faint while in the doctor’s office.

Linda is currently meddling in daughter Nancy’s (Maddy Hill) affairs, and in spite of making a promise that she’ll leave well enough alone, she devises yet another sneaky plan to interfere where she’s not wanted.

The landlady of the Queen Vic makes a phone call – one in which she masquerades as Nancy – before taking a trip to see her doctor.

While in the office, however, Linda feels a bit faint, prompting the doc to suggest that she gives her the once over.

Left with little choice, Linda admits that she might be pregnant.

If this does, in fact, prove to be the case, will the child be Mick’s (Danny Dyer) or Max Branning (Jake Wood)?

The landlady has not looked twice at another man since she and Mick got together when they were teenagers.

A controversial storyline last year, however, saw her uncharacteristically cheat on her beloved husband with lothario Max.

Could she be pregnant with Max’s baby?

or is Mick the dad?

One to watch: Tuesday May 4 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
