Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) set off to locate missing sister Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) in EastEnders, but having failed to do so, she returns in upcoming scenes.
The soap icon comes home next week, revealing that she was unsuccessful in her mission to find Tina.
As a result, she’s determined to make Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) pay!
Viewers will know that, prior to her disappearance, Tina was implicated in the attack on Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), and ultimately she became prime suspect.
Phil, having orchestrated Ian’s attack as a method to seek revenge on the landlord of the Queen Vic for his role in Dennis Rickman’s (Bleu Landau) demise, kept shtum when Tina was arrested.
When Shirley got wind of Phil’s betrayal, she vowed revenge, but not before she decided to try and locate Tina for herself.
Will Phil pay for what he’s done?
Shirley has no idea that Tina is actually dead, after she was killed at the hands of abuser Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) several months ago.
Will Shirley discover that her beloved sister is no longer alive?
Or will she continue to search in the hopes of finding her?
