Viewers will remember that back in 2016, Nancy (Maddy Hill) and Lee Carter (Danny Hatchard) in EastEnders had a fight which led to Nancy knocking Ollie to the floor while he was in his highchair. The accident led to concerns that Ollie might have brain damage and put Nancy’s relationship with her parents to the test as the guilt consumed her.
Thankfully, things were resolved between Nancy and Mick (Danny Dyer) during a heart-warming scene in the pool where Nancy helped Mick with getting Ollie used to the water.
Now Nancy is back in Walford, there’s an element of mystery about her as it’s clear she’s carrying a secret and soon, history will repeat itself as Ollie is hurt once more while Nancy is looking after him.
Linda (Kellie Bright) is wary when Nancy is short tempered and refuses to look after Ollie.
Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) has another driving lesson with Mick and Nancy’s fears are clear when he asks her to take Ollie to the park.
At the park things worsen when Ollie falls over as Nancy’s back is turned and she feels awful.
Mick realises he’s been spending a lot of time with Frankie lately, so schedules in some father-daughter time with Nancy.
Will bonding with Nancy help Mick to reconnect with her?
How will Nancy feel now Ollie has been hurt in her care for a second time?
