Young Hope (Isabella Flanagan) in Coronation Street is set to feel the effects of Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and Fiz Stape’s (Jennie McAlpine) relationship drama soon, as she’s driven off the rails after overhearing her parents argue about the breakdown of their relationship.
When Emma (Alexandra Mardell) reveals that Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) is now seeing Lucas (Glen Wallace), Fiz’s hopes are lifted.
In the garage, Tyrone confides in Kevin (Michael Le Vell) that he’s planning to tell Fiz that he and Alina are for keeps.
After confusion over booking a hotel room, Fiz confronts Alina and Lucas, and when Tyrone returns, Fiz realises he’s chosen Alina over her.
As Fiz and Tyrone row, each blaming the other for the breakdown of their relationship, Hope listens, deeply upset.
Later, having run away from school, Hope returns home and spotting Tyrone’s holdall, asks him if he loves his new girlfriend more than her.
In a bid to cheer her up, Chesney (Sam Aston) invites Hope to play with Joseph (William Flanagan). Fiz calls at No.5 to find Chesney bundling an injured Joseph into the car and when Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) reveals Hope attacked him, Fiz is horrified.
Fiz urges Tyrone to speak to Hope but Tyrone refuses.
Fiz and Ty’s problems are now having an impact on their children, but can they come to some arrangement to be at peace for Hope’s sake?
If not, will Hope spiral out of control?
