Emmerdale has confirmed that at least one character will die after a dramatic week in the village.
In true soap style, it is currently top secret as to who’s life comes to an end, but in a series of flashforward scenes throughout the week of episodes, we learn that three village residents are in hospital.
So who will be the occupants of the three hospital beds? Let’s take a look at the options…
Paul Ashdale
With Paul’s (Reece Dinsdale) gambling and debt problems continuing, he is high on our list of the potential victims. Will Connor (Danny Cunningham) decide enough is enough and kill Paul?
Or, in a more dramatic and shocking twist, if Mandy (Lisa Riley) finds out about Paul abusing Vinny (Bradley Johnson), could she kill him in a state of anger and revenge?
Vinny Dingle
Vinny has been left in horrific pain countless times following his dad attacking him. As Vinny has ended up in hospital after another attack from Paul, could this be foreshadowing how events will play out during the deadly week?
Could Paul end up killing Vinny?
Liv Flaherty and Aaron Dingle
Liv (Isobel Steele) has been supporting Vinny throughout his troubled times with his dad, but is still unaware that Paul is abusing him, despite her suspicions growing.
With Liv set to eventually discover the full truth about Paul, could that leave her in danger?
Alternatively, if Aaron (Danny Miller) protects Liv from Paul, it’s highly possible Aaron could be left in jeopardy too…
Jimmy King
Away from Paul and Vinny, Jimmy (Nick Miles) is also on the list of potential victims. Desperate for money, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) decides to get involved in one of Mack’s (Lawrence Robb) dodgy deals, and gets an innocent Jimmy caught up in the mix and as he drives his truck, he struggles to breathe and is blinded by the glare of the sun.
As Jimmy prepares himself for impact, it’s unknown of the state Jimmy will be left in.
Could Mack be responsible for Jimmy’s life coming to an end?
Whoever ends up in the hospital beds, the huge week will be one that the village residents will remember for a very long time.
