A peadophile was caught by police after he wrote on a toilet wall that he had indecent images of his fake four-year-old daughter, it was revealed in Channel 4’s Undercover Police: Hunting Paedophiles.

Kieran Swain was tracked down by detectives after he wrote in a public loo that owned child pornography alongside an email address that was traced back to his phone number.

Speaking to a detective, Swain said: ‘I’m quite aware of what I’ve been doing isn’t normal and basically what I wanted was to try and communicate with somebody else to basically see if I am not normal or if other people feel that and to talk to them about the situation.’

He continued: ‘My intention wasn’t to distribute pictures and stuff like that. I didn’t want to do that. I wanted to talk to someone else and discuss what motivates these feelings really.’

Swain confirmed he has an interest in children aged between five-years-old to girls who are of age.

It was later revealed that he had pleaded guilty to making, possessing and distributing indecent images of children.

Swain received a two-year community order and was added to the sex offenders register for five years.

Undercover Police: Hunting Paedophiles viewers applauded cops for taking on ‘disturbing’ work after tonight’s hard-hitting episode on Channel 4.

The first chapter of the two-part documentary followed covert officers undercover online trying to catch sexual predators who pose a threat to children.

Undercover Police: Hunting Paedophiles is available to stream on All4.
