Miley Cyrus has shared how she has been practicing safe sex during the coronavirus pandemic.

The star, who is newly single after splitting from boyfriend Cody Simpson, has turned to the internet to get hers.

The Nothing Breaks Like A Heart singer told The Howard Stern Show radio show that FaceTime is ‘the safest way to have sex’ while we all practice social distancing.

‘I do a lot of FaceTime sex – it’s the safest sex. I’m not getting Covid,’ said the 28-year-old.

‘It’s been a really interesting and challenging [time] for any sort of dating or meeting people.’

Miley, who has also previously dated Kaitlynn Carter, also slammed people who weren’t following the health guidelines.

‘I am definitely not going to be doing anything that’s irresponsible for myself or for other people…it’s just ridiculous for anybody that won’t take the right precautions to keep each other safe. It’s f****d up,’ the star added.

The pop star has been looking over her life as she promotes new album Plastic Hearts.

She opened up about her 10-year off-and-on relationship with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, revealing she she still loves him ‘very, very much’.

While admitting she didn’t think they would get married, the couple tied the knot after a bushfire destroyed their Malibu home in 2018, making her reasses her life.

‘I don’t know if we ever really thought we were actually going to get married,’ she said.

‘I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him, and I really do and did love him very, very, very much.’
