Sofia Vergara had an eventually start to her day amid the US election as the Modern Family star underwent a mammogram.
The actress joked that the breast cancer screening added another load of stress onto her plate as the nation waited to find out whether Donald Trump or Joe Biden would win the presidential race.
The 48-year-old shared a snap of herself in front of the machine as she captioned the shot: ‘And just to make today more stressful I went and got my mammogram 😖😖 #allgood 👍 #dontforgetyours❤️’
The America’s Got Talent judge didn’t have to worry about voting on the day as she’d cast her ballot several weeks before.
She revealed on Instagram: ‘Today I used my right to vote. When we vote, we see change.
‘I hope this inspires you to make sure you’re registered, to have a plan and to VOTE!! #vote2020’.
Elsewhere, other celebrities were hitting the polls as Cardi B got up in the very, very early hours of the morning to have her voice heard.
While Kim Kardashian confirmed she had voted with a photo showing off her ‘I voted’ sticker.
Her husband Kanye West was more than happy to vote for himself as he cast his ballot for the first time in his life.
In fact, all the stars were out in force to vote on the big day.
