Tensions simmered for the first time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, with rules inside the camp changing the dynamics on Monday.

Jessica and AJ took on a tricky Bushtucker Trial, feeling in the dark in one of the hardest tests on this series so far.

Elsewhere, Jordan and Ruthie had a quacking time in the Castle Coin challenge, with the chance to win a tasty treat for their campmates.

But what exactly happened on last night’s episode?

The new rules in the camp led to some awkwardness in the morning.

Russell said: ‘Mood today in camp is a little different than it has been the past few days. Everyone has been given specific tasks and there’s been a little of needle, “have you done this”, “have you done that”.

Shane wasn’t best pleased with the new system, especially after AJ told him to clean the pots and pans.

He said: ‘I need hot water, I left them to soak last night, all ready to be cleaned but I need hot water.’

Giovanna said: ‘One thing we’re finding difficult is everyone had chores allocated. Everyone’s getting on with it, possibly some more reluctantly than others.’

Later, Shane said: ‘This is where people get p**** with each other.’

Victoria was determined not to let it happen, saying: ‘We won’t.’

The Scotch egg dilemma

Ruthie and Jordan took on one of the most enjoyable Castle Coin challenges yet, herding ducks into pens to complete the task.

It was their choice of treat, though, which proved a little controversial with the camp.

Visiting Kiosk Cledwyn, they were offered the options of Scotch eggs or chocolate mini eggs, and they went for the eggs. Camp mates successfully guessed that 43% of Brits felt people should not propose in public, winning the treats.

However, most of the camp weren’t that impressed with the eggs, and wished they’d gone with the chocolate instead.

Talk turned to first loves on Monday night, with Beverley sharing the story of her first kiss – revealing that daughter Rebecca’s dad used to wear boot polish in his beard, and it went all over her face.

Then, Giovanna said hers came before secondary school. Her best friend told her that she couldn’t go into year 7 without kissing a boy, so she offered her boyfriend to kiss her.

Ruthie said her first kiss was behind the back of a Wimpy. However, it was Victoria who shocked camp by revealing her first boyfriend accidentally burped in her mouth during their first kiss.

Jessica Plummer was left ‘gutted’ on I’m A Celebrity tonight after her and AJ Pritchard only won six stars on tonight’s show.

The actress and the Strictly Come Dancing star went up against the Harm-oury Bushtucker Trial on Monday’s show.

There were 12 stars hidden inside a series of rooms and tunnels, with the celebrities having to find their way in the pitch black.

they called out to find each other in the dark, passing through a series of claustrophobic spaces.

When the klaxon sounded to end the trial they’d found six out of the 12 stars, and Jessica was disappointed with their efforts.

‘I feel really gutted and disappointed,’ she said afterwards.

‘It was so frustrating,’ AJ added.

Finally, it was revealed that Shane will be taking on the Bushtucker Trial on Tuesday’s show.

I’m A Celebrity airs daily at 9pm on ITV.
