Edward Hutchinson (Joe McGann) fears that his manipulation is set to be exposed in Hollyoaks, and therefore he takes drastic action in order to silence someone he loves.
Verity (Eva O’Hara) knows full well that her dad has been manipulating and scheming in an effort to win back Diane (Alex Fletcher).
Now that he’s successfully done so, the young woman had hoped that he would stop his games, but they’ve only got worse.
From drugging Tony (Nick Pickard) to ensuring Diane changed her hair colour to match that of his dead wife, the sinister surgeon really hasn’t held back, and Verity has found her loyalties divided as a result.
However, she ultimately decides to do the right thing, and thus scolds Edward for all that he’s done.
A heated showdown ensues, and Edward ends up blaming his daughter for her own mother’s death.
Verity is horrified, and swears revenge on him, as she sets out to tell Diane everything.
Edward begins to panic as a result — fearing that his secrets will be revealed — and therefore he decides to take drastic action in order to silence someone he loves.
Is that someone Verity?
What’s more, just how far did he go to silence this person?
Did he commit murder?
