Greggs has announced a tasty collaboration with PlayStation UK to celebrate the launch of the hotly anticipated PlayStation 5

The Greggs & PlayStation Launch Box is perfect for snacking on while you play on your brand new PS5, and while this isn’t the partnership you might have expected, we like the idea of biting into a sausage roll while gaming.

The limited-edition Launch Box is available exclusively through Just Eat, from November 19-December 2. The box of treats will allow fans to enjoy the best of Greggs whilst celebrating the launch of PS5.

The deal includes some of the most loved Greggs products, with vegan and veggie options available too, and for just £5 you could share it with your gaming buddies.

The mixed sharing box includes:

  • 1 x Original Sausage Roll
  • 1 x Vegan Sausage Roll
  • 1 x Sugar Strand Doughnut
  • 1x Vegan Glazed Ring Doughnut
  • 2 x cold drinks of your choice

If preferred, you can request a vegan only or ‘non-vegan’ only version of the box – to keep everyone happy.

There are 50 limited-edition boxes available in each Greggs shop offering delivery exclusively through Just Eat.

They’ll be on a first come, first serve basis, so you’ll need fast fingers.

The launch deal follows much speculation with Greggs fans and gaming enthusiasts, anticipating an announcement following a series of activity. Since last Thursday evening, the partnership has been teased on social media, national out-of-home advertising and in Greggs shops across the country, and was confirmed across social media and Greggs shops on Tuesday.

‘Greggs and PlayStation are two beloved brands – both with an army of die-hard fans – so the two iconic brands coming together to celebrate the launch of PS5 makes complete sense,’ says Greggs customer and marketing director, Hannah Squirrell.

‘We’ve taken this cultural moment in time as an opportunity to give our shared brand fans the opportunity to get their hands on a piece (and a taste) of history.

‘We hope the nation enjoys the deal and it gives them the fuel needed for a celebratory game on the incredible PS5.’
