Vogue Williams still has to introduce baby girl Gigi to some members of her family who have not been able to see her due to lockdown.

Vogue and husband Spencer Matthews, who are already parents to son Theodore, welcomed Gigi in July while the UK was still in lockdown due to the pandemic.

The presenter says her time at home has helped her to ‘relax’ after what was a difficult pregnancy.

But it has meant that her extended family have not met their new little bundle of joy.

Asked how she has found becoming a new mum again during such an uncertain time, Vogue told Metro.co.uk and other press: ‘I had quite a tough pregnancy so it was nice to be able to sit back and relax and spend time with Theodore.

‘Obviously not much of my family have met Gigi yet, so I don’t know when they will get to meet her and that’s the only really disappointing bit.

‘But for the most part we had quite an okay lockdown. I got to spend lots of time with my son, and just relax a bit more.’

Her next project is Steph’s Packed Lunch, a new afternoon TV show on Channel 4 fronted by Steph McGovern, which launches on September 14.

The model will join Steph on the programme to discuss what has got viewers talking around the country.

Vogue shared that she was happy she could bring Gigi to set in Leeds.

She joked that she and Steph, who both had babies recently, wear ‘lots of concealer’ as they balance working with being mums.

‘I would say it’s a challenge but I do like to think that women can do both,’ Vogue said.

‘You can be a career woman and a really great mum.

‘I think it’s important to take on jobs that you love because it’s nice to be happy in yourself and your family. I have Gigi up here with me every time I’m up here filming so that’s quite nice.’

‘I’ve done a lot of things in London so it’s nice to have a bit of a different backdrop. I love Leeds, I love Yorkshire, I love Yorkshire Tea, so I’m pretty happy to be up here!’
