Why buy there?
Sitting on the river Lea, this laid-back town has a long history and is perfect if you’re after open space on the doorstep and lots going on, as there’s normally a full calendar of sporting and arts events, including an annual festival.
Quickest commute: 45 mins to Liverpool Street

Sittingbourne
Why buy there?
Another Medway town that’s just undergone a multi-million pound makeover, with the creation of a new leisure quarter including a cinema and hotel. There are fast HS1 trains into London and Canterbury isn’t far away.
