Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) bonds further with Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) in EastEnders, but it soon comes to light that the young woman has a huge secret.

Tina isn’t too pleased when Mick (Danny Dyer) turns down the position at the Price Albert, therefore allowing Frankie to take the job.

However, in spite of Tina’s concerns, Frankie proves a natural in Friday’s episode (September 11) — leaving us wondering if romance could ensue between the two women.

Next week, Tina struggles to work out if Frankie is flirting with her when she suggests that they have a drink after work.

Things are complicated further when she puts her foot in it when she discussing Frankie’s deafness, but she attempts to connect with her, and ultimately does so by looking through photos on her camera.

Tina spots a photo of a young boy, and Frankie opens up — revealing that said young boy in the picture is her brother, who died ten years previously.

After what seems to be a successful bonding session, Tina takes her new buddy to The Vic, and she’s instantly taken with Ollie — but the Carters have no idea that Frankie is taking photos of them.

What is Frankie up to?

What’s more, what’s her interest in Ollie?

A trailer which aired the week prior to the soap’s return revealed that Frankie takes photos of Ollie while he’s playing in the Square with Mick, but the reason as to why has yet to be revealed.

One to watch: Monday September 14 at 8:05pm on BBC One.
