Coleen Nolan shared a positive message as news broke revealing both her sisters Linda and Anne have been diagnosed with cancer.
Both Linda, 61, and Anne, 69, have been undergoing chemotherapy at Victoria Hospital in Blackpool, after receiving news of their diagnosis within days of each other.
They found out the devastating news after returning from filming their TV series The Nolans Go Cruising and confirmed they have a cancer in a statement shared via Twitter on Sunday.
Linda has been diagnosed with incurable cancer in her liver, while Anne has stage three breast cancer.
Speaking out after news of their cancer surfaced, Loose Women star Coleen Nolan shared her own statement via her own Twitter account and remained positive.
She tweeted: ‘They’ve beaten it before – they can beat it again,’ alongside a love heart emoji.
Her post continued: ‘Coleen’s brave sisters Linda and Anne sadly reveal they both have cancer again In tomorrows papers, here is a preview below. Please keep them in your thoughts and well wishes X.’
Both Linda and Anne have battled cancer before. Linda previously battled breast cancer in 2006 and cellulitis and lymphoedema on her arm, as well as secondary cancer in her pelvis in 2017.
Anne has previously battled breast cancer.
Speaking about their new diagnosis, Linda told The Sun: ‘We laughed and we cried really. It’s hysterical.
‘Forget the Chemical Brothers, we’ve become the Chemo Sisters.’
The I’m In The Mood For Dancing singer said she hopes to ‘live as long as possible,’ adding: ‘I am scared of dying as well. Even though I believe in God, I’m still scared.’
She said: ‘It’s just really hard and I’m scared of dying. I don’t want to die. I want to be around and see my great nieces and nephews grow up, and that’s why I’m putting everything I’ve got into trying to get well.’
Her heartbreaking news comes seven years after the death of her sister Bernie Nolan, who died from cancer in 2013.
