Coleen Nolan is returning to Loose Women on Monday following her sisters’ cancer diagnosis.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that the presenter’s siblings Linda, 61, and Anne Nolan, 69, had both been battling the disease during the coronavirus lockdown.
And after taking a short break from the daytime show, Coleen has revealed she will be back this week.
A message appeared on the 55-year-old’s official Twitter account, stating: ‘Thanks for all the lovely messages for Coleen. She’ll be back on @loosewomen on Monday.’
Fans were quick to comment and sent their well wishes to The Nolan Sisters.
‘Thinking of you and your sisters you’re all made of strong stuff. Keep positive,’ one wrote while another said: ‘Praying for your sisters and all your family, stay positive all of you.’
Someone else added: ‘Oh lovely will be glad to see you back lots of love to you and your family sending lots of hugs and prayers.’
The tragic news was confirmed in a tweet this month, seeing the Nolan’s official account write: ‘For the past few months during lockdown, Linda and Anne have been battling cancer & chemotherapy together…
‘We will get through this together, as a family.’
The pair have been undergoing chemotherapy at Victoria Hospital in Blackpool.
When appearing on Good Morning Britain, Linda opened up about how she feared the cancer would spread after her treatment was delayed during the pandemic.
The singer told presenters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway: ‘You think if it’s not on time will it spread? But since then it’s been fine, it’s all according to plan.
‘The schedule the hospital have set for us is working. I have a consultation tomorrow which is great so I can do it in pyjamas. It is very scary in that respect.’
Addressing her mental health, the star added: ‘They say stay positive all the time, doctors say that helps. We’ve both had moments where we’re scared to death, we want to live.
‘I’ve known since 2017, but with the right treatment I’m gonna be living with cancer and I want to do that for a long time.
‘If you crawl under the duvet it’s gonna be twice as bad when you do go for treatment. We are trying to stay positive about going through it together.’
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30 on ITV.
