Riley Keough has revealed a new tattoo in tribute to her brother Benjamin Keough, who tragically died earlier this month.

Benjamin, the son of Lisa-Marie Presley and Elvis Presley’s grandson, died by suicide at his Calabasas, California home on 12 July at the age of 27.

His older sister Riley, 31, was left devastated by his death and has now found a way to keep Benjamin close to her.

In her latest Instagram stories, Riley shared a photo of the fresh ink on her right collarbone which says ‘Benjamin Storm’, her younger brother’s first and middle names.

The choice of tattoo seemed to have even deeper meaning as Riley shared a photo of Benjamin’s collarbone where he had her first name tattooed.

Remembering fond memories with her beloved sibling, Riley shared a video of them laughing over a ‘rogue cheeseburger’ while in a hotel room, and also travelling in Kyoto, Japan.

It comes just days after Riley expressed her heartbreak over Benjamin’s death in her first Instagram post since the news broke.

‘Mornings are the hardest. I forget you’re gone. I can’t cry because of the fear that I will never stop. A pain that’s new to me,’ the actress wrote.

‘You. There are no words for you. Angel is the closest I could think of. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector. Too sensitive for this harsh world. I hope you give me strength to endure the giant hole you’ve left in my heart.’

She continued: ‘I hope you give me the strength to eat. I hope you’re cradled in love. I hope you feel my love. I hope you feel god. You are god. I can’t believe you’ve left me. Not you sweet Ben Ben. Anyone but you. I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again.’

Benjamin’s death was confirmed by Lisa-Marie’s manager, who said the singer was ‘completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated’.

They added: ‘She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter, Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.’
