Kim Kardashian was spotted arriving back in Los Angeles on Tuesday without her husband Kanye West following their emotional reunion.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was seen exiting her private jet in California after flying back from Cody, Wyoming where she had met with her husband for the first time since his concerning public outbursts.
Wearing dark sunglasses, Kim was dressed comfortably for the flight in a white tracksuit and pair of Kanye’s Yeezy slippers while carrying a large handbag.
It appeared Kim, 39, had travelled alone as Kanye was not pictured with her.
The couple’s marriage is said to be incredibly strained following the rapper’s shocking spate of rants in recent weeks.
During his presidential campaign rally in South Carolina, Kanye said he and Kim considered aborting their first daughter North, before embarking on a lengthy Twitter rant claiming he wanted a divorce and accusing Kim of meeting rapper Meek Mill in a hotel.
Kim jetted out to Wyoming on Monday to talk through recent events with her husband of five years in person, but emotions were high and the couple were seen having a heated discussion in their car at a Wendy’s drive-thru, with Kim even tearful.
Sources claim Kim has told Kanye, 43, to remain at his ranch in Wyoming where he feels ‘calm’ compared to LA which he reportedly finds ‘stressful’.
An insider told The Sun: ‘She’s told him not to come back until he feels ready.
‘In truth, I think she’s trying to shelter their children from what’s going on until he’s better – she’s super-protective of them. The children come first.’
They added: ‘She would never stop Kanye seeing his children but both parents want their kids to be unaffected by what’s going on.
‘Of course she’d love Kanye to return home and everything to go back to how it was before, but realistically that’s not going to happen.’
Kim made it clear she was standing by Kanye, who she shares four children with, in a statement released addressing his bipolar disorder.
The KKW Beauty founder asked for ‘compassion’ for her husband as she opened up about his mental health battles and said: ‘I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy.
‘But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.’
Kim went on to explain how the family were ‘powerless’ to help Kanye and said the rapper needed to seek it out on his own.
