Will and Malone fight in Emmerdale

Emmerdale fans had hoped that Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) had managed to finish off corrupt officer DI Malone (Mark Womack) when he decked him with a wrench – but tonight, Malone will show signs of life and if he survives, he is bound to want revenge!

Malone came round to threaten and intimidate Will all over again and when he made comments about Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and also his daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley), he snapped and left him for dead.

The action picks up from that very moment as Will fears that he has killed a high ranking officer and will end up in prison – something he has always feared would destroy him.

But as he sets about panicking and making plans to try and cover up the ‘murder’, Malone will twitch – meaning either Will might have to finsih him off or the vile detective will pull through and have his vengeance.

If Malone does happen to have a skull of steel, he would now have the perfect means to get rid of Will so he can target Harriet for himself.

Will he turn Will in to the police and accuse him of trying to kill him – and is this the end for Will as he faces a long stretch in prison?

Or might Malone wake with a big plan of blackmail as well as a headache? Perhaps he has more use of Will yet – and there’s not much Will is able to do if Malone makes it through this…

Emmerdale continues on Monday 27 July at 7pm on ITV.
