Ethan (George Rainsford) has flashbacks in tonight’s Casualty to his terrible ordeal when he was caught up in a terrorist explosion. When a van ploughs into a crowd at a Comic Con event, Ethan is on the spot – but just at the moment he should be springing into action to help the injured he finds himself paralysed with fear. Can he overcome his own trauma to help the casualties?
Fenisha (Olivia D’Lima) is also at the event. Things have been a little awkward between her and Ethan since their brief romance and he still believes that she terminated the pregnancy that resulted from it. As they struggle with the unfolding situation at the Comic Con, will Fenisha see another side to Ethan?
As Faith (Kirsty Mitchell) and Lev (Uriel Emil) wait for the results of Luka (Tom Mulheron)’s latest scan, Faith feels that Lev is being distant with his family. Is it just the stress of having a very ill son, or does Lev have other things on his mind? Could it be anything to do with what we recently discovered about his activity on gay dating apps?
When Faith is left on her own to deal with things, she turns to Dylan (William Beck) for support. At first he’s confused – the pair of them have been maintaining a professional distance since he took a bullet for her in the siege and revealed his true feelings – but he rushes to the hospital anyway. As Faith copes with the latest news about Luka, can Dylan put his own feelings aside to help her?
Nate (Tim Pritchett), the man with the wheelchair that Jacob (Charles Venn) befriended a while back, returns to the ED and Jacob is shocked to find that he hasn’t been looking after himself properly. In his determination to do something to help Nate, Jacob breaks a promise. Can their friendship survive the betrayal?
Apart from Nate, the other patients this week are casualties from the Comic Con incident. When Harley Quinn (Lydia Page) finally meets her Joker (Roderik Gilkinson) face to face, she finds he’s not the man she thought he was.
