For many who live away from their parents, the recent lockdown and restrictions on who you can see might have been difficult.

With Father’s Day coming up, this might feel even harder with many facing the possibility of not seeing their dads or father-figures.

Here’s when Father’s Day 2020 is and how you can still show your dad you’re thinking of him with a personalised card…

When is Father’s Day 2020?

You’ve still got time to get Pop the perfect present – Father’s Day falls on Sunday 21 June this year.

If your Father falls into the shielding category, the good news is that he can now leave the home for exercise, and to meet someone in an outdoor setting provided you follow social distancing measures.

Where to buy personalised cards online

If you live too far away to meet, or you still don’t want to chance it, you can send a personalised card from the comfort of your home.

Many online sites are still operating delivery services.

Websites like Moonpig and Funky Pigeon will allow you to choose the perfect card for your Dad, or make your own using photos you can upload.

Both sites suggest giving yourself extra time to ensure the card arrives on time due to increased demand, so order at least a week before to be safe.

Other ways to send something include Bloom and Wild, if you want to send flowers with the optional extras of a card and chocolates.

Place your order before 10pm Monday-Friday and you’ll qualify for Free Next-Day Delivery, though you might want to order ahead of time to ensure a delivery slot in time for Father’s Day, as they’re likely to fill up.

Keep It Personal.co.uk is another option that will let you personalise a range of gifts, including beer glasses, photo frames and more.

They state on their website that they can ensure a speedy delivery service that will get you or your dad his gift in 1-2 working days.

Etsy offer a great selection, though the personalised items can sometimes take longer to manufacture so get your orders in sooner rather than later.

Delivery times differ depending on each individual seller.
