Man sues his date for giving him a cold sore

A man who says he picked up a cold sore after kissing a woman is suing her for more than £130,000. Martin Ashley Conway claims he has been “traumatised” and his life and work seriously affected after snogging the woman who he met in London last year. Conway says that she was “negligent” by kissing him while she had an active cold sore.

How much toilet roll did Americans use during lockdown? 

A study has found that Americans used 140% more toilet paper during quarantine compared to pre-coronavirus life. With people staying home, a four-person family would burn their way through 17 double rolls or nine mega rolls in two weeks. Meanwhile, a two-person household would wipe their way through nine double rolls or five mega rolls in the same period.

Russian beauty pageant for sale on Gumtree 

A Russian production company is selling a beauty pageant on Gumtree. The Beauty of Universe explains that it has been forced to focus on our other creative projects in the field of cinema and festivals. “We sell the Beauty of the Universe international beauty contest for almost a penny - only £2,500,” it says.
