The aftermath of newcomer Chelsey confronting Carla Connor (Alison King) is going to leave her in a mess in Coronation Street when secrets come to light from when Carla was staying in a squat while homeless. But when Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) discovers the blackmail, how far will he go to sort things out?
Elsewhere, Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine) remain divided over Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) while Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) may be ready to move on – but is all as it seems?
Monday 15 June
Carla insists that she has no idea who Chelsey is but is shocked when Chelsey reminds her she stayed in her squat when she was sleeping rough. Chelsey demands a grand in exchange for her silence to Peter but what will Carla do?
Sally refuses to sit with Tim and Geoff in the pub. Adam offers to spend his birthday with Daniel and Bertie but when he cancels, he is gutted and talks to Sinead’s photo, realising how empty his life is.
Adam quizzes Laura about Rick and she admits that she has no idea where he is. Adam gives Laura his card while Gary warns Laura she needs to take Kelly and leave. Laura points out that without Rick’s maintenance, it’s all she can afford.
Wednesday 17 June
Carla finds Chelsey lurking and offers to buy her breakfast but she later returns with a man called Jordan – who demands money for his drugs she destroyed in his squat. Peter finds Carla upset and demands to know what is going on.
Adam decides to get Daniel out and about and takes him to a party. However, a lady called Nicky hits it off with him and tries to put him at ease.
Roy reveals that Shona will soon be discharged and David is hopeful. Roy is concerned that he is getting his hopes up.
Geoff lets slip that Sally kicked him out, Faye is furious confronts Tim and Sally. Tim suggests they talk about it inside.
Friday 19 June
Carla lies about Jordan as Peter escorts him out. Later, she comes clean and reveals that Jordan and Chelsey are blackmailing her. Jordan and Cheley later return, Carla is disgusted and faces up to them. As Peter returns later, a news report comes on about a serious assault on a man and a woman – he turns it off before Carla can hear…
Adam is pleased to see Daniel and Nicky getting on. As Nicky suggests they make a night of it, Daniel agrees and they head out.
David calls at the cafe and drops off Shona’s things in preparation. Alya tells Imran that she suspects Sally knows that Yasmeen is innocent – they need to get her on side. Faye moves in with Geoff. Evelyn meets up with Arthur for a drink – and she orders tap water when it’s her round.
