An alligator that was stolen from a Texas zoo 20 years ago has been returned, reported NBC. Authorities believe that the eight-foot gator named Tewa was probably stolen by a person who was volunteering at the Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo. It was found near Austin by the Texas Game Warden and returned to the zoo in New Braunfels. “Alligators don’t make good pets, y’all,” the agency told the public.
Woman wants a ‘Sugar Daddy Day’
A Florida woman has called for a Sugar Daddy Day, reported Inside Edition. Ashley Cream took the floor at a Boca Raton Planning and Zoning Board meeting to make the unexpected request. She asked the board to “decree a Sugar Daddy and Mommy Appreciation Day on March 10th”. Cream argued that the Sunshine State has a large number of “Sugar Daddies” and “Sugar Mommies”, and that their “generosity” has helped others with college tuition and cosmetic surgery. She said generous elders support the local economy.
Giant rats ‘making cliff unstable’
Giant rats could be making a cliff in Wales unstable, reported The Guardian. Footage on social media appears to show the large rodents tunnelling in the ground, and scurrying in and out of holes in the seaside town of Tenby, one of Wales’ most popular tourist destinations. Roger Miles, a boatman, told the BBC that he had seen “rats as big as cats” and said parts of the cliff had been eroded because of them.
