Maradona ‘alive and training’ at Dundee United

Football fans believe they’ve spotted Diego Maradona having a jog at Dundee United’s training ground, the Daily Star reported. The football legend died in November 2020 at the age of 60, but supporters noticed a figure resembling the Argentinian having a run in the background of Sky Sports footage this week. “What the f***s Maradona doing at Dundee,” asked one viewer on social media. Another said “Maradona is alive and he’s hiding in Dundee”.

Alfredo sauce cooks on US motorway

A heavy load of creamy Alfredo pasta sauce has been accidentally deposited all over a busy road in the US. The incident occurred when an 18-wheeler truck carrying hundreds of bottles of the cheese-based sauce crashed and spilled them all over a road. “Crews worked through dusk to clear the sauce – using cleaning equipment, not breadsticks, of course,” said NBC. However, the baking heat meant the sauce began to cook. “It was just not a great recipe for a highway full of Alfredo sauce,” said an onlooker.

Small talk ‘reveals our personalities’

A few minutes of small talk can reveal a person’s key personality traits, according to a study published in the journal PloS One. Researchers found just four minutes of such chatter can give away aspects of our personality, such as whether we are extroverted or introverted, and influence subsequent social interactions. “These sorts of impressions won’t be perfect, but they will be useful,” said Prof Daniel Sgroi from the University of Warwick, the co-author of the study.
