Not for nothing was this clip of the climax to a race shared in the subReddit ‘watch people die inside’.
And by the looks of it, it’s already been watched 6 million times or so.
Redditor B-L-O-C-K-S called it the ‘difference between ego and determination’, perfectly captured in 9 seconds flat.
Still, second place, eh? Anyone?
‘You don’t have it until you have it.’
skankhunt_4‘That sounds so logical, but still some people don’t know it.’
1dkeating‘You love to see it.’
jellyfishwob‘He did it to himself ’
B-L-O-C-K-S‘How do you not at least check behind you first to see how far back the other runner is? What a fool.’
finalfourcuseThis is speculation, but maybe the second runner was in the first position at some point but he was saving some energy for the final stretch. The first runner passed him fairly easily, so in his mind he was far ahead from him. The second guy then started running faster and won the race.
Kanigami-sama‘The visual representation of “Get f*cked.”
