Goat helps catch fleeing suspect

A US sheriff’s office has thanked a goat for assisting in the pursuit of a suspect this month. The goat, named Gracie, helped two Virginia deputies chase a fleeing suspect across a field and into woodland, reported Fox News. “Sometimes help comes in all shapes and sizes,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook. After the suspect was caught and taken into custody, the goat was returned to its owner.

Twitter divided over breakfast roll price

A Dublin man said he was left “screaming, crying and throwing up” after paying almost £6 for a breakfast roll with nine fillings at his local SPAR deli, said The Daily Mirror. The man took to Twitter to share his outrage at the price, but some social media users didn’t think it was quite as scandalous as he did. “How much do you think it should be? Seems about right to me,” wrote one.

Hips help men break balloon record 

Two men from Idaho broke a Guinness World Record by popping ten balloons between their bodies in just 15.25 seconds, said UPI. David Rush, who has successfully broken or set more than 200 Guinness World Records, said he and his collaborator eschewed the “hugging” method employed by previous holders of the record and instead used the more “efficient” method of standing side-by-side and popping the balloons between their hips.
