2022 is almost upon us, and plenty of stars have taken the opportunity to say goodbye – and good riddance – to 2021.
It’s been, erm, an interesting year as the Covid-19 pandemic continued, with many happy to say goodbye to it and hoping for better times ahead in 2022.
Many of us are celebrating in different ways – while some are headed for a night out, and others have jetted off on holiday to see in the New Year, some are just enjoying a night in.
So, here’s to 2022!
Holly Willoughby
Holly has always been a woman after our own hearts, and she proved it again this New Year’s Eve by getting on the drinks at 6pm.
Donning a fetching ‘Happy New Year’ hat and posing with an enormous margarita, Holly got ready to see in 2022.
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury
As we should have expected from Love Island’s ultimate power couple, Molly-Mae and Tommy have gone all out for New Year.
They’ve jetted off to New York City, sharing gorgeous snaps from the Big Apple, and we couldn’t be more jealous.
Little Mix
Two of our wonderful Little Mix ladies became mothers this year, and took time at the end of 2021 to look back on the experience.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock shared a string of photos of herself and her fiance Andre Gray, and their baby twins, whose names they haven’t yet revealed.
”Twas a good year… 🥺🖤,’ she wrote.
Meanwhile, Perrie Edwards shared some gorgeous previously unseen snaps of her pregnancy, writing: ‘I cooked a whole human in 2021.’
Of course, we can’t leave out queen Jade Thirlwall, who continues to give us life, and revealed she’s been spending her last hours of 2021 making a playlist titled ‘Live, Laugh, Lateral Flow’.

Queen of country Dolly has revealed she’s ‘getting her sparkle on’.

Tom and Giovanna Fletcher
Meanwhile, after a busy year, the Fletcher family are having a night in.
McFly star Tom shared a gorgeous snap of himself, his wife Giovanna, and kids Buzz, Buddy, and Max, with the caption: ‘New year sofa party 🎉.’
Jamie Oliver
Chef Jamie has shared the love with his wife Jools, posting a sweet photo of the pair of them.
‘An early Happy new year !!! from me and jools,’ he wrote.
‘We wish you all good health! and good luck for 2022…..I always think this time of year now more than ever is a good moment to reflect and be massively grateful for all my wonderful family, loyal friends , extraordinary work colleagues and ofcourse YOU the great global public that support me and inspire me every single day.’
Sir Elton John
After casually breaking a few records in 2021, Sir Elton has reflected on his year and is hyped to finally be able to go on his tour in 2022.
He wrote on Instagram: ‘Thanks to all of you, I love you all! I can’t wait to FINALLY get back on the road with my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour and everything else that 2022 has in store!’
