There are further problems ahead for teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in Coronation Street as he unknowingly enters dangerous territory with Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) – who has a crush on him.
After babysitting Bertie, Summer sits down with Daniel, and they start working on her Oxford interview prep.
As Summer comes out of Daniel’s flat, she bumps into Aadi (Adam Hussian).
Aadi is delighted to see her and glancing wistfully back, Summer paints on a smile for him.
When Daniel reveals his babysitter has let him down, Summer suggests she gives Max his coaching in Daniel’s flat, so Bertie has childcare at the same time.
Daniel returns and feeling grateful, tells Summer to stay and share his takeaway.
Adam (Sam Robertson) calls round and quizzes Daniel about his intentions towards Daisy.
As Summer mishears, she’s thrilled to think Adam and Daniel are talking about her.
The next day, as Summer heads out of class, she spots two tickets for The Importance of Being Earnest on Daniel’s desk.
Daniel catches up with Summer in the corridor and asks her if she’s free this evening – but will Summer get the wrong idea?
How will she feel when Daniel reveals he actually just wants Summer to babysit?
