Drag Race UK fans were gutted to see Victoria Scone depart after a nasty injury but she hinted she may be back on the show again one day in a recent update.

Victoria got off to an amazing start on season three of Drag Race UK, coming in the top two after some truly stunning looks in week one and soon became a favourite amongst fans.

However, after an injury in the battle for the top spot left her in obvious pain the following week, RuPaul delivered her a crushing blow.

Victoria was ordered to get her knee injury checked out by a doctor, who would assess whether she was fit to continue in the competition.

Unfortunately, she was unable to do so and Ru confirmed her shock exit from the series.

But could she be back again for season four in order to redeem herself? Well, perhaps!

On Saturday, Victoria responded to some of fans’ burning questions after her sad exit from the show.

She said on Twitter: ‘1) THANK YOU all for your stunning messages of support! 2) my injury was a partial tear to my ACL (big ouch, no surgery luckily).

‘3) No, I’m not jumping out of a box in a few episodes time 4) ‘we haven’t seen the last of Victoria scone!’ -that’s honestly all I’ve got right now.’

Could this mean Victoria will get another shot at becoming the UK’s latest Drag Race superstar in the future?

It wouldn’t be the first time a contestant has been given a second chance after circumstances beyond their control, with Veronica Green given the opportunity to return for season three after contracting Covid last year.

However, Drag Race’s first-ever cis women contestant Victoria admitted she hasn’t, so far, received an invitation for season four and is unsure what the future holds just yet.

She told Gay Times: ‘You pretty much know as much as I know! What Ru said is what Ru said. We’re still screening season three at the moment.

‘If that happens, it will be very much in the future. I’ve not had an invitation as of yet, so yeah… That’s as much as I can tell you in all honesty!’

Drag Race UK airs Thursdays on BBC iPlayer from 7pm.
