Fred Sirieix gave co-hosts Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo a lesson to remember in Monday’s episode of Gordon, Gino and Fred Go Greek.

The latest chapter of the popular travel series saw the food enthusiasts head to Athens with the intention of understanding where high-concept cuisine originated.

Well, that’s what Gordon and Gino thought, but Fred had other intentions.

While sightseeing, the trio come across a statue and Italian chef Gino, 45, had a lot of questions regarding the sculpture’s anatomy.

Gino said: ‘Why is there a willy here?’

To which Fred replied: ‘In 400BC big genitals were not considered desirable, and it wasn’t about power or strength. In plays it was only the fools depicted with a big penis.’

Fred’s historic revelation left the two chefs speechless and slightly confused, so the head waiter came up with an easier example to help them understand.

He later added: ‘Can I translate for you? Gino would be in fashion and Gordon would be out of fashion, Gino would be like the God.’

Gordon, Gino and Fred Go Greek is the latest spin-off from the popular ITV series, which sees the three chefs travel across countries in their RV testing out the culinary credentials of each one.

The new instalment kicked off in Crete, before the two chefs and the First Dates maître d’hôtel made their way to stunning Santorini.

Monday’s episode was the second and final chapter of the hit series, much to the fans disappointment.

But don’t worry too much, as it was confirmed a bonus Christmas special has already been confirmed for this year.
